[Pharmacological effect]
Pharmacological FunctionsCanine & feline compound T-cell interferon, anatural glycoprotein secreted by norma| caninand feline cells with proper revu|sants, hasbroad-spectrum antivira| and anti-tumorfunctions, and optimizes immune functions. Theproduct is canine & feline compound T-ce|interferon produced based on geneticengineering.Recombinant super-compouncinterferon(rSIFN-co) is a class of chimericinterferon optimized and modifed usingbioinformatics technology. The sequence of 166amino acids of rSIFN-co has been obtained bysequencing native canine & feline IFN-a, IFN-Y,IFN-w, and rearranging the amino acid sequenceof interferon receptor binding sites. To facilitatethe molecular modification, 4 additional aminoacids are also changed. The corresponding DNAis chemically synthesized, rSIFN-co shares 88%homology with IFN-a, 90% with |FN-w, and 67%with |FN-y. it can bind to both type | and type llinterferon receptors in dogs and cats with variousbiological functions, rSIFN-co is obtained fromyeast cells, The DNA sequence of rSIFN-co isinserted into yeast genome, and rSIFN-co isobtained from the expression of yeast cells.rSIFN-co of high purity is obtained after a seriesof chromatography purifcation, with the nativeconformation unchanged, rS|FN-co has amolecular weight of 19.434 Da, with purity greatethan 98%.
The product has antiviral, anticancer, and NK celactivation functions. Its biological activity is atleast 5 times higher than IFN-a and IFN-w, withonly about 1/10 side effects, The product workseffectively in both dogs and cats.
[Indications]
The product is used for prevention and treatmentof viral diseases, such as canine distempercanine parainfluenza,canine herpesvirusinfections, canine adenovirus, canine
parvovirusand so on. it can also be used for treatment offeline panleucopenia, feline leukemia, infectiousconjunctivitis, feline infectious peritonitisdiarrhea, feline rhinotracheitis, feline rabies, felineacquired immune deficiency syndrome (FAIDS),and other viral diseases. The product can be usedto treat varlous tumors in dogs and cats, inhibithe growth of cancer cells, increase leukocytes,and boost the immune system.

[Dosage and Administration]
Dosage and AdministrationReconstitute one via| with sterile water forinjection to form a clear solution, Subcutaneousinjections should be administered in therecommended amount of 300,000 lU per kilo ofbody weight, maximum safe dose: 500,000 |U perkilo of body weight, for 3 to 5 days as a courseThe stock solution may be used directly as eyedrops or nasal drops, 1 to 2 drops each time, 5 to6 times daily. The product can also beadministered by aerosol.

Side EffectsIn rare cases,allergic responses may appear aftethe use of the product.
Dexamethasone isindicated for the treatment of such allergicreactions.
